Coming straight out of Brooklyn I started dj'ing at the age of 13 when my mom brought me a pair of Numark Belt Drive Turntables. At the time I didn't know the difference between Belt Drive and Direct Drive. While trying to mimic the radio dj's I would listen to them and try to figure out why i didn't  sound like them. I figured it out. I needed Direct Drive Turntables. So my pops went out one day and brought me a pair of 1200's.
